The use of protein shakes after a workout can be useful as well. Eating right will give you plenty of energy at the gym. Avoid energy drinks as they often give you a surge of energy for a short period of time and then you will feel sluggish. Don’t skip meals and you will find that you are able to keep your blood sugar from spiking and dropping.
