Eating the right food

Whether you are a vegan, a vegetarian or you eat meat at all meals, there is a simple set of rules which can keep you healthy. There are thousands of diets out there, thousands of recommended life styles and they each say that they have the right way. So in the following paragraphs I will try to present you the most common eating habits which were proven to help people live longer and healthier.

One element which everybody agrees that it does wonders for your health are the antioxidants. What do they do? Antioxidants are organic substances which have the simple effect of keeping your body cells young. Imagine that with each breath you take the oxygen destroys and degrades lots and lots of cells in your body. Of course, due to the structure of our DNA once a cell is destroyed a new copy of the old one is created to take its place. The problem is that the copy is not perfect and by making a copy of the copy of the copy the cell starts to lose important information. This is the reason for which we age. It’s simply a copying error. So, getting back to antioxidants, what they is quite simple and yet amazing – they protect the cells from oxygen damage. The more antioxidants you have in your diet the younger you will maintain yourself.

So which are the foods containing the miraculous antioxidants? One of them is the wine. So drink wine, but drink with moderation as it’s also an alcoholic beverage and alcohol is certainly not healthy. Chocolate (in fact the cocoa) and green tea are also a great source of antioxidants. Just google around or ask a professional nutritionist and you will find even more foods like these. You will stay young and avoid chronic diseases such as heart problems, lung problems, Alzheimer or cancer.

Vegetables are gold! Eat lots of colored legumes and vegetables. They contain all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals which make our body tick on the right frequency. So vegetarian or not eat vegetables as often as you can! Are you in love with meat? Just remember one thing – at least eat grass-fed animals.

Even though this might seem exotic, sea food is actually miraculous. People living on islands having sea food as their basic element in their nutrition exceed 100 years of age with ease. Shark meat is also a wonder of nature. The only creature on this planet which can’t have cancer is the shark. So eat  this type of white meta as often as you can.

Eating the right food is not about the diet you’re on or about the specific aliments which you eat or don’t eat. In the end it’s about not making excesses and trying to keep it natural.

7 Reasons why you are not losing weight

You’ve probably seen how the Internet got flooded with all these lose weight techniques and they all state their method is the best. And you’ve probably even tried lots of them and still no results. Well, there are some simple issues which most diets will omit. So just read along and maybe you will be able to tick one of these 7 reasons as well.

Reason #1. You are eating more than you are consuming.

It’s simple math. You can’t lose weight if you don’t consume more calories than you eat. So the simplest solution is to stop eating and then you spend just the usual but without taking anything in. Reason #4. You’re still eating bread.

While you are on your special regime avoid all white carbohydrates. The greatest enemy – the white bread! Why? Because it contains lots and lots of those. So keep your hands off the bread. And no, toasted bread is not OK! It has the exact same amount of calories, just less water.

Reason #5. You’re not motivated.

Most of us lack the motivation to lose the extra pounds. We go for a while with the diet, but at some point we simply crack. Why? Because we forget why we are doing this or we consider that the pain (usually psychological) is not worth it. So what should you do? Talk to your friends about what you are doing, convince a friend or two to join you in the journey.

Reason #6. You’re not drinking enough water.

Water is vital. You want to lose fat and not liquids so while you’re on a diet drink water as often as possible. This will also help detoxifying.

Reason #7. You don’t eat bad, but drink bad.

It’s not enough to stay away from the bad foods. You also need to avoid sodas and alcohol. Drinking calories is even worse than eating them as they assimilate much faster.

The deciding factor in choosing a weight loss program may lay in your financial capacities. If your pocket is so thick with hundred of Benjamins, you can easily pick the one you like, or even get a liposuction to get rid of all those undesirable stocked fats. However, if you have limited budget, then you can choose the no-penny-cost approach, which is to exercise.

Most people nowadays prefer something that is instant. When it comes to weight loss plans, they tend to choose the products that promise instant effect.  However some doctors and experts recommend that you should not trust those products. They will have a detrimental effect on your health in the long run.

The method of keeping motivated during a weight loss program
